It’s a warm welcome to our newest Leather Doctor, Sav, who will be kicking off the new year servicing The Leather Doctor MacGregor territory on the south side of Brisbane, Queensland.
We spoke to him about his reasons for joining The Leather Doctor and what he hopes to achieve with his new business. Here’s what he had to say:
What was it that attracted you to join The Leather Doctor business?
It’s a similar type of mobile business that I had in the past. Flexibility with work and lifestyle balance, and the franchise model appeals to me – it’s a business that I can be successful in.
What did you do prior to becoming a Leather Doctor
Prior to becoming a Leather Doctor, I worked in several other mobile businesses.
What territory will you manage?
I am taking on the territory called ‘MacGregor’, which is on the outer south side of Brisbane in Queensland.
What do you hope to achieve during your time as a Leather Doctor?
To acquire new skills, meet new people along the way, help customers with their problems and meet new challenges.
What advice would you give to someone looking to purchase a franchise/to work as a contractor in a franchise?
First, find a franchise system that meets your needs and that you have an interest in. Then check the franchise out and do your due diligence by speaking to as many people as possible. Finally, find out about the management team and how well they will help you and back you up.
Describe your ideal weekend?
Spending time with my family, cooking, going to church and playing sport.
