It’s a warm welcome to our newest Leather Doctor, Geoff, who will be kicking off the new year servicing The Leather Doctor West Melbourne territory.
We spoke to him about his reasons for joining The Leather Doctor and what he hopes to achieve with his new business. Here’s what he had to say:
What was it that attracted you to join The Leather Doctor business?
Good franchise model, having looked at lots of other models. I also liked that there was flexibility with work times and types. I also have a general interest in working with my hands, which fits perfectly with the type of work that I will be undertaking as a Leather Doctor
What did you do prior to becoming a Leather Doctor
Prior to becoming a Leather Dr, I was self employed in the food industry.
What territory will you manage?
I’ll be operating the West Melbourne territory.
What do you hope to achieve during your time as a Leather Doctor?
The acquisition of a new skill set and to be able to build a solid income from my territory.
What advice would you give to someone looking to purchase a franchise/to work as a contractor in a franchise?
Do your due diligence. Also, find a system that you have some interest in – you have to enjoy what you do!

Sitting on Moffat Beach, drinking a cold beer and spending time with my family.
